The Sugar Creek Tamburitzans have been ambassadors of the songs and dances of the Slavic cultures for over 40 years. The performing group is based in Sugar Creek, Missouri - a community that became a destination for Slavic immigrants in the first half of the 20th century. Today, the group continues to perform at concerts and events around the Kansas City area.

The Sugar Creek Tamburitzans announce three performances
The Sugar Creek Tamburitzans are preparing for three Spring performances. The first is a polka mass at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Sugar Creek on May 2, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. The second is a polka dance to benefit the parish following mass on May 2nd. It will be held at the Onka Memorial Building in Sugar Creek. The third performance is on June 13, 2009 at the Sugar Creek Slavic Festival. Visit slavicfest.com for more information.
